Ticket Policy

Each person REGARDLESS OF AGE must have a valid ticket to enter a performance.

In most cases, this means you will need to purchase a ticket to bring your infant into the auditorium, even if they will be sitting on your lap. Babes in arms under the age of two are allowed into the Viewing Room with a ticketed adult for no extra charge.

Exchange Policy

NO REFUNDS.

If an event is sold out, our staff will do their best to resell your tickets for you. No refunds will be given until the tickets have been sold to another patron.

EXCHANGES only subject to the following conditions: 

  1. Tickets for another performance of the same event may be exchanged by calling the Tidemark Theatre Society Box Office at (250) 287-7465
  2. Tickets may not be exchanged between different events.
  3. An exchange fee will be applied as follows:
    • Members: No Charge
    • Non-Subscription tickets: $2.50 per ticket.
    • Please retain your original tickets to redeem your new tickets upon presentation at the Tidemark Theatre Society Box Office.
  4. Requests for ticket exchanges will be accepted up to 48 hours prior to the performance date of the tickets you are holding. This provides the Tidemark Theatre Society Box Office the opportunity to resell the exchanged tickets.
  5. The difference in ticket price will be charged when upgrading your tickets to a more expensive night or seat.

Lost Tickets

In the event that you have lost your tickets, please visit the Tidemark Theatre Society Box Office or call (250) 287-7465 before your performance date. Lost ticket replacement is subject to a fee of $1.00.

Order Fee

There is an order fee on every ticket that is purchased through the Tidemark. The order fee applies whether you purchase tickets online, in person, or by phone. We do not charge an extra fee for ordering online.

Order fees are standard for cost recovery within the ticketing industry for both travel and entertainment. Theatre operating costs have risen significantly since 2008 due to higher production and insurance costs for events, reduced Provincial and Federal support for programming, and increased regulatory and compliance requirements for virtually every aspect of operating a public facility.

The order fee helps us to continue operating, while keeping the cost of utilizing the theatre as low as possible.

Mailing Fee

Mailing fees are charged to cover the costs of sending you your tickets and/or passes in the mail. Tickets and Passes are mailed via 1st Class Postage. Delivery may take 5 to 7 business days to arrive.

It is important to note that no tickets will be mailed for performances within 7 days of the purchase date.

Tidemark Theatre Society is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets in the mail.

Accessible Seating

If your ticket purchase includes seating designated as accessible (generally set aside for patrons under the Americans with Disabilities Act), you may be greeted by ushers near the seating area. If it is more appropriate to seat you elsewhere for any reason, you explicitly accept that you and your entire party may be reseated at the sole discretion of the venue into seats of our choosing and subject to availability on that performance.

Scalping, Secondary Market, or Problem Orders

We do not make tickets available to scalpers or the secondary market. We reserve the right to cancel your ticket purchase at any time and for any reason if we determine that there is a potential issue with your order or a risk to the venue (including but not limited to financial, reputation or any other reason). Tickets cancelled by the venue more than 7 days prior to the performance will receive a full refund for the tickets.

This will be specifically enforced if you have any past history of disputing any sale.

Policies

The venue has specific box office policies in place for season ticket holder, single ticket sales, exchanges and refunds. Accepting the terms and conditions means that the ticket purchaser also acknowledges and accepts all ticket policies.
