Dancestreams 2017

Dancestreams, Vancouver Island’s premier pre-professional youth dance company, joined by students from Campbell River’s Urban Dance Academy will present an evening of outstanding original contemporary dance. Formed thirty years ago, Dancestreams has been honored to work with some of Canada’s top professional choreographers, and this show will feature works by Eloi Homier, Tara Cheyenne Friedenberg, Bo Lam, Alysa Pires, Donald Sales and Alison Denham. Internationally acclaimed and nationally recognized, Dancestreams has been delighting audiences throughout the decades, not only on Vancouver Island, but throughout Canada, California, China, Germany and Belgium.

Come and see what highly motivated, talented and dedicated young people, including five Campbell River dancers, are capable of achieving! An eclectic mix of theatrical, classical and contemporary movement of the highest caliber, and a treat for the whole family!
