Jenny’s House of Joy (Rivercity Stage)
For Canada’s 150th year, Rivercity Players presents Jenny’s House of Joy, by Canadian playwright Norm Foster. He describes the play as a western rather than a comedy. While the one liners are plentiful, the play has serious undertones. Set in the parlor of a whorehouse in Baxter Springs, Nebraska, this play takes an inside look at the oldest profession. These dynamic, colourful characters explore their relationships with each other and the outside world. Given the content, this play has adult themes and is intended for adults only.
Tickets: $20 (+applicable taxes and fees)
