Be witness to the birth of a new generation of musicians. These 21 and under powerhouse talents are taking to the Tidemark stage June 19th, 2015. With them they bring a wide, diverse range of genres, performance styles, and composition. From solo country acts to rock bands, to acoustic orientated folk pop rock, these young musicians have it all and are ready to flaunt it. This is your chance to see these incredible artists in a professional setting before they’re selling out arenas.

Remember, you only regret the things you never did – don’t regret missing out on this.

Off To Sea

Off To Sea is a returning group to Live at The Tidemark, and a group who has been working hard on finishing their debut EP “City Lights.” Off to Sea is based out of Campbell River and consists of brothers Jacob and John Hutchins, and Ayden Garlinsky-Gonsky. They have played a variety of shows in the past months amidst recording their EP, and really love performing. Drawing musical inspiration from the likes of the Kings of Leon, The Who, PUP, and The Foo Fighters, Off To Sea are excited to not only rock the building, but to watch for the rest of the talent Campbell River and Courtenay has to offer. Off To Sea’s music is a mix of raspy yet melodic vocals, driving and upbeat drums, and intricate guitar pieces that move the listener into the minds of these young musicians.

Her music is raw, acoustic and full of emotion. The lyrics within her songs portray meaningful messages everyone can relate to. Keisja’s live show is intimate, engaging and creates a “coffee shop” atmosphere. There is a feeling of wholesomeness to not only Keisja’s music, but to herself as well. Keisja prides herself on being able to deliver a simple and wholesome performance, while remaining engaging and powerful. Keisja has worked with many local and national artists in various genres to expand her skills and knowledge of songwriting.

Castra Nova

Formed in 2015, Castra Nova is made up of singer Maggie Cramb, bassist Dustin Hutchison, lead guitarist Brandon Dougan and Austin Saunders on drums. Drawing from influences ranging from the Black Keys to Metallica, Castra Nova has created a polished sound that can really rock. All current Carihi Secondary students, they spend their lunch times jamming in the band room and meet up after school to play too. This band will impress you with their musical prowess, while putting on an unforgettable show.

Bed Rock

Bed Rock started out as trio but added a drummer to complete their sound. They love all music genres but find themselves falling into Rock. Members Taz and Charlie grew up in very musical families while Emile and Jack were introduced to piano when they were quite young. Despite their young age, these rockers love playing together and the way music makes them feel. They take every opportunity they can in their busy schedules to get together and make music. These up and comers are sure to put the Rock in the Roll.
