DESCRIPTION:The Snowed In Comedy Tour has turned into a Canadian success story\, celebrating its sixteenth year. It has now grown to become the biggest comedy tour in Canada. SUMMARY:Dominic Miller "The Shape of My Heart" Tour
DESCRIPTION:Dominic Miller\, widely known as Sting’s trusty side-kick guitarist and the co-author of many Sting’s super hits\, is due to make his first appearance in Campbell River. \nDominic Miller and his band are bringing the program “The Shape of My Heart” to Western Canada in January 2025. They will play 8 shows across Alberta and BC jam packed with evergreen hits. \nDominic Miller has been involved in every Sting album since the 1991’s “The Soul Cages” and performed over a thousand concerts with the former “The Police” singer as well as co-written hit songs such as “Shape Of My Heart” and “La Belle Dame sans regrets”. He recently accompanied Sting in his 2024 “Sting 3.0” tour across Europe and North America\, which included five sold out shows in Toronto. \nDominic Miller is also a very successful solo artist having released 12 albums to positive reviews. Born in Buenos Aires to an American father and an Irish mother\, he studied guitar at Boston’s prestigious Berklee College and the London Guildhall School of Music. \nHe’s been a sought after session musician since the late 80s and his list of engagements defy categorization but include collaborations with Phil Collins\, The Chieftains\, Eddi Reader\, Katie Melua\, Bryan Adams\, Paul Young\, Nigel Kennedy\, Peter Gabriel\, and Tina Turner\, among others. \nDominic Miller will be touring with this star-studded line-up: \n\nDominic Miller – guitar\nZiv Ravitz – drums\nNicolas Fiszman – bass\nJason Rebello – piano\n\nThe band will play numerous works from Sting’s repertoire in a jazz and folk style.
