DESCRIPTION:We Listened! \nAnnouncing our mini 4 session youth improv theatre workshop. Know a youth that loves to dress up\, imagine\, and Halloween . Maybe they want to act or learn improv then this workshop is for you! \nJoin us at the RainCoast Musical Theatre studio Wednesday’s starting October 3 – 24 from 5:45-6:45 pm\, with a final performance – the Halloween Improv Howl show at the Tidemark Theatre. \nIn just 4 sessions realize \n\n\n\ntheatre skills\npublic speaking\nmemorization techniques\nrock star confidence building\n\n\n\nOn the Mark Improv Theatre participants will have the opportunity to perform in a mini show a collection of improv and short scenes. The Halloween Improv Howl is a hilarious mini lobby show to be performed at the Tidemark Theatre on Thursday\, October 25th at 7:00 pm. A howling good time for the whole family – be prepared to howl with delight! \nStudents ages 8 through teen are welcome to register! \nPerformance will be open to public\, family\, and friends by donation\, with a suggested donation of $5 per person. \nCourse Registration: $54 (+applicable taxes & fees)

SUMMARY:Rivercity Players - Just Desserts
DESCRIPTION:Rivercity Players is delighted to offer something new to their audiences – dessert! \nTheir fall production\, “Just Desserts”\, will feature 3 one act plays\, and one sweet intermission. \nThe evening starts with Wanda’s Visit\, directed by John Godfrey.  We all love our wives/husbands\, but how much do we love them?  Maybe our relationship has plateaued – we are satisfied\, but the shine is now burnished.  How cool can we be when a former flame sidles back into the picture twenty years later?  How will your life partner react?  This hilarious production is a stage adaptation taken from the PBS series Trying Times\, and is performed by Don Pennell\, Darlene Carr\, Kelly McDonald and Sara O’Haver. \nThe Bright Side of Being Blue comes next\, and is directed by Tim Myerscough.  A theatrical manager schemes to keep a country music star successful by making him unhappy so he will write more of his chart-stopping sad songs. But the star is just too easy going\, especially after he falls in love with a bubbly country singer whose cheerfulness may ruin his career.  This award winning comedy is performed by Alistair Taylor\, Lynne Macara\, Stephen Bishop and Sara O’Haver. \nThe last play of the evening is both comic and poignant.  Directed by Susan Wydenes\, Post-Its (Notes on a Marriage) explores the ups and downs of a relationship that were unexpectedly captured on scraps of paper.  An actor and actress read the Post-Its between a couple that span the duration of their lives together.  This heartwarming play is performed by Glen Clark and Kim Stevens. \nIntermission will feature dessert\, included in the ticket price. \nTickets: $20 (+applicable taxes & fees)

DESCRIPTION:Eric Harper is a multi-award winning musician who creates a style that is not only all his own\, but his music is melodically entrancing\, virtuosically ferocious and harmonically soul-stirring to the core. Hatched from a small “po-dunk” town in Arkansas\, tempered by the hard-worn guitarists of Portugal\, inspired by the fantastical Flamenco from Gypsies in Spain\, modernized by the transformative education of Berklee College of Music in Boston\, Eric is currently camping out amongst the Canucks in Canada. Since 2000 Eric has won multiple awards not only for his guitar skills but also for his Film Scoring talents.
