The Tidemark Theatre Society Board of Directors
Penny Gosselin, President president@tidemarktheatre.com
Penny abounds in creative energy and sees our community as the art place to be. Her background includes leadership roles as an educator, the CR Arts Council, and Patrons of the Arts. Penny supports active engagement in partnerships between non-profit art groups. One of the highlights last year was the partnership between Patrons of the Arts, the CR Arts Council, and the Tidemark Theatre in putting on the Wearable Art Show in our theatre. It truly was an amazing evening showcasing visual and performing designers, models, and artists. Penny believes it to be a privilege to be on the Tidemark Board as it is an example of board and staff working together to give the best a theatre can offer to our community.
Tracy Burgess, Treasurer, Chair of Finance Committee
Energy, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and get-up-and go describe Tracy. She is a long-time resident of Campbell River and has always been an avid supporter of the Tidemark. In the past she has volunteered in the concession and seating patrons, as well as enjoying the shows. Tracy’s experience in accounting / bookkeeping and administration are valuable assets that she brings to the Tidemark board.
Tracy is dedicated to working with the Board to bring the best the Tidemark can offer to Campbell River.
Melanie Erickson, Director, Human Resources Chair
Melanie has lived on Vancouver Island for many years and has had a prosperous career in the service industry and managed to raise both of her children on her own during it all and now she is grandmother of 2 mostly lovely little girls.  She is currently a Real Estate agent with Royal Lepage Advance and is enjoying the wacky hours and helping people get into the home of their dreams. In her social life, she is a member of the River Spirit Dragonboat team here in Campbell River( this is where her soul lives),  and also the Membership Director of the Kinette Club of Campbell River which is the female version of the Kinsmen. The Kinettes have only been around for about 3 years now, so they are working hard at getting their name out in the community with party set up/take down, helping the kinsmen with their casino nights, and holding raffles throughout the year with the proceeds going to less fortunate families in the community. Her hobbies are going to the Theatre, travel, photography, and boating (not fishing) with her husband.
Kerri Favelle, Vice President
After 30 years of family vacations in Campbell River, Kerri and her husband Brian made the move to call her happy place "home." The Tidemark Theatre quickly became a favourite spot to grow her own community, inviting new and old friends to take in the excitement and joy of our events.
Community care and building has always been important to Kerri, a life-long volunteer at organizations like Food Banks, Christmas Bureaus, Creative Community Service and now, Altrusa Campbell River. Collaborating with like-minded and -hearted people is what really lights her up; that and crafting, camping, and oceanside-strolling: the inspirations for her small business of handmade delights, Heart & Hand.
As a theatre enthusiast, Kerri is committed to and excited about being a part of a Board of Directors that champions the impact of live events on community enrichment.
Tracey Jamieson, Secretary, Chair of Fundraising Committee
Born and raised in Kenora, Northwestern Ontario, on Longbow Lake, Tracey’s childhood was filled with camping, fishing, boating and snowmobiling.  She attended Cambrian College, Sudbury, Ontario in the early 1990’s and earned a diploma in Graphic Design and Fine Arts. While at the college she attended many theatre, fine arts performances and shows, as well as participating in art exhibits and helping people make story telling into paintings at summer festivals. She made the big move to British Columbia after college when  she decided she wanted less winter and has never looked back, She finds it so beautiful in Campbell River where there is so many opportunities for everything a person could want such as hiking, snowshoeing, arts etc. Once she moved to Black Creek on Vancouver Island she knew she found her forever home. Tracey works at Royal Lepage in the offices and supports her husband in his work as well.
I have had the pleasure of living on Vancouver Island for over 25 years, 15 of them being in the Oyster River area where we got to raise two amazing young ladies on a hobby farm. Originally from the Sweet East Coast, I have been involved with many different and wonderful Campbell River organizations including Campbell River Day Break Rotary and now Tidemark theater, where I am honoured to be a part of this amazing Board and the work they do. My partner, Jim Graham and I are the proud part owners of Campbell River Toyota where we do our best to support local initiatives and organizations including the Food bank, SPCA and the Outdoor Adventures Program at Timberline Secondary school just to name a few. We are blessed to live in such a wonderful community and being able to enjoy boating and fishing, one of our favourite things to do.
Jane Kolonsky, Director
Jane is a familiar face at the Tidemark, having volunteered here since her retirement in 2017. She spent many years in the lending industry as a loan officer, followed by several years in the real estate industry, here and in Victoria, ending with a number of years at the Real Estate Council in Vancouver. She retired home to Campbell River to be with family.
Jane is most proud of her four children all born and raised in Campbell River. Her nine grandchildren range in age from 20 years to 4 months. Three of her grandchildren live in Campbell River, so she gets lots of Grandma time.
Jane believes the Tidemark is the heart of Campbell River, bringing together people from all walks of life. It's a place for entertainment and celebration and a place to laugh, cry, sing, dance, and celebrate. She is looking forward to being involved with the Board
Born and raised in beautiful Campbell River, Amrik is a husband and a father to three teen daughters. He has spent most of career working in the resource sector and has transitioned on a new journey being an personal financial advisor. Through this he has seen his girls grow into the amazing, hard working creative young women they are today and his wife and daughters are greatly involved in many genres of performing and visual arts, the joy and determination they possess is contagious.
