A Letter to Generation One

Things have changed. No single leader or political party can fix what is in front of us. There are choices to be made, and they are ours to make.

A Letter to Generation One is a town hall for Campbell River, hosted by theFlux. The evening opens with a series of short films, narrated by Icarus Flyby, on how we got here and what comes next. From there we walk through theFlux Common at theFlux.ca: a community-owned technology commons for the North Island, with shared workshops, local computing and the plain infrastructure that holds a town together. Then the floor opens. Residents with a passion project are invited to bring it to the stage. Send a few lines about yours to icarusflyby@gmail.com.

Membership in theFlux Common is free for Campbell River residents. Sign up before the evening at theFlux.ca and bring a neighbour. The more names on the list, the stronger the room.
