Believe

Believe is a creative, collaborative production of Hoopnosis Hoop Dance, On The Mark Theatre, AcroCity, Rhythmic Ribbon Dance and Artistic Dance.

Join us on a journey of one girl’s story that starts out as a day of disappointment after auditioning for her dream performing arts school and being flat out rejected. This leaves Christine crushed, and full of self-doubt, sinking into an overwhelming feeling darkness and loneliness.

But then, her day takes a magical twist and along come friends she never knew she had.

Her special friends the Fae Queen and her Fae Guide then offer her the opportunity to find her passion and believe in herself once again. But first, she must trust them and allow herself to be swept away deep into a forest to the Gatekeeper, led into the darkness where she is greeted by bending shadows, dancing animals, acrobatic creatures, tumbling butterflies, magical flower fairies, Spinning ravens, dancing trees, forest bird queens, scary broken dolls, thunder storms, rainbows, and the Mischievous Imps.

Here in this forest, each creature will lend a hand in her journey through this whimsical world, to help her find her light, her passion, so she can once again be fearless, strong, happy and above all, once again, BELIEVE in herself.
