The primary focus is the safety of the community and to ensure that the public has the information they need to respond quickly should a major earthquake take place. The first hour of the session will feature speakers on:

  • Community emergency planning.

The second hour will be a question and answer period with various experts, including Emergency Management BC.

Session dates:

  • December 11, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm; and
  • December 15, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Doors open 45 minutes in advance. These sessions are free and will be filled on a first-come basis with a seating capacity of 400. The sessions will feature the same content each time.
