Highway 19 Concerts is proud to present a special solo hometown concert by singer-songwriter and guitar ace Jeff Plankenhorn.

“Plank” is a world-class songwriter and had been an accompanist to the stars and first-call session musician in Austin, Texas for 16 years when he decided to go solo with his critically acclaimed album SoulSlide in 2016.

In 2019 he and his wife decided to make her hometown of Campbell River their home base between frequent tours around the US, Europe and across Canada.

His brand new album Alone At Sea reflects Plankenhorn’s new found affinity for his Vancouver Island home while continuing his signature blues-folk-rock sound that was developed over 20-plus years of playing with some of the best songwriters in the world in one of the America’s musical capitals.

Plankenhorn rocked Spirit Square this past summer with his band, but will be solo for this intimate concert at Rivercity Stage.

General admission tickets are available for $20 to be affordable to anyone who wishes to attend, or $30 help sustain this concert series. The choice is yours. Teen tickets are only $5 and tickets for kids are free when accompanied by a paying adult.
