Highway 19 Concerts presents a night of latin music and dancing with Juno nominated 6-piece band Mazacote from Vancouver and optional dance lessons before the show at 7pm with Forbidden Dance Co.

Mazacote is a hard-hitting Latin band with deep roots in the music of Colombia, Mozambique and Venezuela. Inspired by Afro-Caribbean percussion and tropical party sounds, they play brass-heavy latin dance beats with a message!

Mazacote lit up Shoppers Row as part of CR Live Streets last summer. Now they’re coming back to bring some heat to the winter in Campbell River.

Tickets are $35 for the concert or $50 including a salsa dance lesson from Forbidden Dance Co. beginning at 7pm.
