Symphony from your Sofa – SPAIN & STRINGS

With much regret, the Vancouver Island Symphony must cancel our concert – SPAIN & STRINGS this Friday April 23.  We were told that our musicians should not be travelling between Provincial Health Authorities. Our String Orchestra reside in three Health Authorities in British Columbia and so for everyone’s safety, we were advised that travel should not take place this week due to Covid -19 regulations.

We have cancelled this performance, however the Vancouver Island Symphony will pay our musicians as they are expecting these funds. For many of our musicians, this was their only concert with the VIS this year. Everyone is very sad about not being able to perform together!

The Symphony acknowledges the support of the Tidemark Theatre in co-presenting this concert. Thank you for your continued support of the Symphony and the Tidemark Theatre.
