“Kids can explore things.  Don’t get too caught up in your brain about it.  Just experience the joy of seeing your kids having fun.” – Dave Deveau, playwright & drag queen

The Tidemark Theatre proudly presents a brand-new addition to the Campbell River Pride 2019 line up: Parents Are A Drag! Join Zee Zee Theatre drag queens, Isolde N. Barron (Cameron Mackenzie) and Peach Cobblah (Dave Deveau) in the Tidemark gallery on June 22nd at 1pm, for a family friendly drag, dress-up spectacular!

Originally commissioned by the Vancouver International Children’s Festival, Parents Are a Drag celebrates diversity with songs, laughter and play. Add some rainbow to your day with this fun and inclusive event that reminds young ones, their parents, caregivers and everyone in between that it’s never too early (or too late!) to get silly with dress up! With opportunities for the audience to become part of the show, be sure to come dressed to impress or ready for some dress-up time.

Sponsored by the Campbell River Mirror, 99.7 2day FM, Coast Discovery Inn and What’s On Digest, admission is by donation at the door.  Be sure to check out the rest of the CR Pride 2019 activities on June 22nd by following the Tidemark Theatre and North Island Pride on Facebook and/or Instagram.
