Marc Atkinson Trio with guest Daniel Lapp

The Marc Atkinson Trio is a wonderfully talented group of string musicians including lead and rhythm guitars and stand-up bass.  Marc is a seasoned and very talented Juno award winning guitarist. To his list of credits, Marc now adds the 2021 Canadian Music Award for “Instrumental Solo Artist of the Year”. The upcoming concert will feature his genre bending fretting and flat picking virtuosity. The current trio is comprised of Arlo Atkinson on rhythm guitar and Scott White on stand-up bass and they are first rate musicians in their own respective rights.  The Trio will be joined by Daniel Lapp on violin. Daniel has recorded numerous albums of folk, jazz, and electronic music as well as playing on over 100 others. He has received the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Service Award and the Canadian Folk Music Association “Innovator” Award for his contribution to Canada’s fiddle culture.
