The Nutcracker

This the River-Port’s 5th annual Nutcracker production. The performances at the Tidemark Theatre mark the closing of this tour that has brought the Nutcracker cast to stages in Port Alberni and Courtenay as well as Campbell River.

The touring cast is made up of dancers from all 3 of those island communities who have come together to bring this holiday classic to life. Joined by guest professionals, Marsh Kwan and Giovanni Giordano in the roles of the Sugar Plum and the Prince, as well as guests from Victoria Academy of Ballet’s Post Secondary Bridge Program, this show is sure get audience members of all ages in the holiday spirit.

Children from Studio North Dance Academy will join the touring cast on stage bringing more local talent and sweetness to the stage. If you have seen this production before, come for new surprises and make The Nutcracker a part of your holiday tradition!
