The Annual General Meeting for the Tidemark Theatre Society will be held Monday, March 6th, 2017, at 5:00 PM in the Tidemark Theatre Lobby. Non-members are welcome to attend, however, please be advised that you must be a member in good standing for 30 days prior to the meeting to be eligible to vote.

Principal, Patricia Huntsman Culture + Communication

Patricia is currently leading the Create Victoria Arts and Culture Master Plan designed to build on the City’s vibrant scene to become a world-class hub for creativity, innovation and artistic excellence. Prior to establishing her British-Columbia based consulting her consultancy in 2009, Patricia worked nationally and internationally in senior roles in the creative and cultural industries for seventeen years, most notably as Chief of Sponsorship and Corporate Giving at the National Gallery of Canada, and National Marketing Manager and Knowledge Management consultant at the Hill & Knowledge Management Consultant at Hill & Knowlton Canada.

She continues to expand her knowledge and interest in culture, technology and entrepreneurship having attended the trail-blazing global Remix London conference that brought together digital strategists from major cultural institutions with innovative and emerging arts groups. she has recently completed a two-part residency at the Banff Centre on New Fundamentals: Leadership for Canada’s Creative Ecology.

Patricia holds a Diploma in French Studies from the Sorbonne University in Paris, France, and an MBA from one of North America’s oldest public University – the University of New Brunswick, where she also earned a B.A. in Psychology (visual perception concentration).

Patricia’s presentation will focus on the new frontiers in arts engagement and provide inspiring global and regional examples from the London Remix conference and the Banff Centre’s New Fundamentals: Leadership for Canada’s Creative Ecology program.

The Tidemark Theatre Society is a local not-for-profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. The Tidemark Theatre Society has a membership base of over 300 members and there are over 70 volunteers that regularly assist with the performances.

The mandate of the Tidemark Theatre Society is to be a nationally recognized centre for the arts that contributes culturally, economically and socially to our community. The organization strives to build and enrich our community by providing a variety of quality arts and cultural experiences and to encourage imagination, innovation, and originality in our support of the performing arts.
